Porridge with manuka honey

Eat oats the proper way by steeping them in milk overnight and slowly cooking them in the morning.


Stuff you’ll need

150g pinhead oatmeal
750ml milk
50g manuka honey
100ml double cream
100g nuts and seeds
150g dried fruit
Pinch of salt

Serves: 10
Prep time: 5 mins
Cook time: 15 mins

Get Stuck In

1. The night before, place the oatmeal in a pan with the buttermilk and leave to soak overnight.

2. For the porridge, add the salt to the oats and bring slowly to the boil. Stirring often, cook for about 10-15 minutes until thick and creamy.

3. Serve in warm bowls with the honey on top and a good splash of cream.

4. Top with nuts and seeds of your choice.
