The Social Diner is a supper club where we invite an established chef to cook alongside our apprentices, who have all been affected by homelessness.
So far, The Social Diner has hosted Michel Roux Jr (La Gavorche), Shay Cooper (The Goring), Chris King (The Langham) and Mark Hix (HIX Restaurants) at our supper clubs in 2017.
Brigade's Head Chef, Manuel Mancuso, is kicking off The Social Diner in 2018 with a special event involving our apprentice alumni, who will showcase the skills they've acquired since joining our programme. Former apprentice, Grant Ridley, who is now working at The Mondrian, will be working under Manuel's guidance to create an immense four-course menu. We'll also be inviting back apprentices, past and present, on the night.
